Oravec Earns USCAA and PSUAC Weekly Awards

Junior Tarra Oravec was named USCAA Pitcher of the Week, she was also named PSUAC Pitcher and Player of the week. Oravec picked up her second consecutive PSUAC Pitcher of the Week. Oravec pitched in two of Penn State New Kensingtons four games this week, earning a record of 2-0. In the two victories she pitched a total of 12 innings, giving up only 2 earned runs on 6 hits. She also recorded 15 strikeouts. She also contributed from the plate going 9 for 13 with 3 homeruns and 9 RBI.

In 7 conference appearances this season, Oravec has a record of 5-1, giving up only 6 earned runs while striking out 42. Her ERA in conference play is an outstanding 1.01. In 10 conference games she is batting .594 with 19 hits in 32 at-bats. She also has hit 5 homeruns while adding 20 RBI.
