Penn State New Kensington Pulls Away Late to Defeat Greater Allegheny, 89–74

Penn State New Kensington used an efficient offensive night and a decisive rebounding edge to secure an 89–74 victory over Penn State Greater Allegheny on Tuesday evening at Wunderly Gym.

Ta'Rasi Means delivered a standout performance for the Lions, scoring a game-high 32 points on 12-of-20 shooting while logging all 40 minutes. Means also added five assists as New Kensington shot 60.8 percent from the field and 45.5 percent from three-point range.

Keith Rockmore Jr. provided perimeter scoring throughout the contest, finishing with 17 points on 4-of-7 shooting from beyond the arc. Shane Peters anchored the interior with a 10-point, 12-rebound double-double, helping the Lions control the glass with a 34–21 rebounding advantage.

New Kensington maintained offensive balance as seven players scored, including 11 points from Myles Griffith off the bench and a perfect shooting night from Jadyn Benson, who went 3-for-3 from the floor.

Greater Allegheny was led by Jordan Poole's 22 points and Elijah Hannon's 20 points and 11 rebounds, but the visitors struggled to find consistent offense, shooting 40.9 percent overall and 21.7 percent from three.
