The Penn State New Kensington Men's Soccer team had another strong offensive showing Sunday versus conference opponenent Penn State Wilkes-Barre.
Sophomore Alex Ferrarccio opened up the scoring with a header off of a long service from fellow sophomore Cy Milko. Junior Dylan Hamilton added a goal in the 13th minute, finishing a pass from Gabe Gaertner that beat the Wilkes-Barre goalkeeper. Senior Pascal Bikanura wrapped up the first half scoring as he found the net off a long ball from Josh Zakrzewski.
Hamilton opened up the second half with a finisher from Mitchell Kuczynski. Freshman Matt Matsey then scored the first goal of his career, heading in a cross from Bikanura. Ferraccio, Bikanura, and Hamilton would each score again, all unassisted.
Penn State New Kensington improves to 3-0-1 on the season and 2-0-1 in PSUAC play.
The Lions hit the road for a tough roach trip next weekend. They will face defending PSUAC champion Penn State Brandywine at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and the 2016 PSUAC runner-up Penn State Hazleton at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
