Penn State New Kensington Men's Soccer Dominates Schuylkill in 7–1 Home Victory
Penn State New Kensington men's soccer opened their home PSUAC slate in emphatic fashion, cruising to a 7–1 win over Penn State Schuylkill on Saturday. The Lions controlled play from the opening whistle, overwhelming the visitors with pace, pressure, and a balanced attacking effort.
Jayson Ireland delivered a career performance, scoring four goals and adding an assist to lead the charge. Ireland struck early in the 7th minute and completed a first-half hat trick before tacking on his fourth goal midway through the second half.
Ethan Krystek and Daniel Garcia each added goals of their own, while Taber Driscoll scored late to round out the offensive outburst. Carson Zadylak fueled the attack with three assists, while Finn Bethurum and Gavin Rigby each contributed helpers as well.
